Tree House Poject: THE TOWER

The Tower is a multi level playhouse consisting of two cylinder-like structures placed on top of one another. Each level has a platform of a diameter of 5'5" which provides enough space around the tree trunk for children to play or lie down. The playhouse is accessible directly from the ground by climbing up into it. The open structure of the tree house allows for a great diversity of points of view. On the first level, The horizontal slit created by the gap between the two cylinders is placed at children’s eye level. The second level is an open space with a balcony. The total height of the structure is 14 feet.

Other accessories can be added in the final design such as a pulley to hoist a bucket and a rope ladder to access the second level from within the structure.
